Jayhawk Boulevard is the iconic roadway that bisects the entire length of the campus running along the peak of Mount Oread. The 3,000 square yards of concrete pavement replaced rutted asphalt along the heavily traveled bus route. Another 3,000 square yards of sidewalk were replaced in front of the Museum of Natural History and the Student Union. Also, 12,300 square feet of concrete pavers were placed in the plaza area adjacent to the Boulevard for aesthetic and architectural appeal.
