National ICF Builder Award 2018 Light Commercial 2nd Runner-up. ICF was used for 93% of the exterior walls in the conditioned areas of the building. Closed cell spray foam was used for the remaining walls and ceilings. Radiant heat over 2″” rigid foam was provided in the apparatus and ambulance bays and gear room. Projected heating costs for 19,000 sf of conditioned space is expected to be less than $410 per month. This is indicated by construction heat requirements and the customer’s late winter heating costs.
